W.G. Nielsen & Co. is excited to announce the sale of Groove Ford and Groove Mazda to AutoNation
W.G. Nielsen & Co., a leading investment banking firm in Denver, CO, acted as an advisor to Summit Automotive Partners in the sale of its dealerships: Groove Ford and Groove Mazda in Denver, CO to AutoNation.
“This is an exciting time for us,” said Alex Gillett, CEO of Summit. “We know Groove Ford and Groove Mazda are in AutoNation’s good hands.”
Wayne Nielsen, who led the deal for W.G. Nielsen & Co., believes this is another example of increasing opportunities within the retail automotive sector. “We continue to see a significant amount of automotive transactions throughout the U.S. Our activity certainly picked up last quarter, and more so over the past couple of weeks, as dealer principals understandably have questions arising from the recent announcements of tariffs; we are working closely with clients, both on the buy and sell side, as they navigate through these times of uncertainty.”
