Nielsen & Co., a leading investment banking firm headquartered in Denver, announced today that it acted as financial advisor to Hilliary Communications in its acquisition of Tatum Telephone Company and Electra Telephone Company from Townes Telecommunications. Both Tatum and Electra are located in Texas.
About Hilliary Communications
Hilliary Communications is a telecommunications provider serving customers throughout various parts of Oklahoma. Services include being a local exchange carrier, cable television provider, broadband provider, and leasing fiber facilities. The acquisition of Electra Telephone Company and Tatum Telephone Company represents Hilliary’s first purchase of independent telephone companies in Texas.

Tatum Telephone Company was founded in 1910. Tatum provides service to over 700 voice customers and 375 broadband customers across two countries in rural East Texas.
About Electra Telephone Company
Founded in 1914, Electra Telephone Company has a long history of providing phone services to residents and businesses of the Electra, Texas. Currently they provide service to 475 voice customers and 175 broadband customers in Wichita County in rural North Texas.
