W.G. Nielsen & Co., a leading investment banking firm headquartered in Denver, announced today that it acted as financial advisor to Alpha Milling Company Inc. ("Alpha" or the "Company") in its sale to Mid-State Restoration, Inc.
About Alpha Milling Company Inc.
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Arvada, Colorado, Alpha is the leading road milling contractor within the Colorado road construction industry. Alpha supplies asphalt removal services to road construction general contractors with a fleet of more than 15 milling machines, which is the largest fleet in the region by several times.
"We've had a great run over these past 20 years but Alpha's future has never looked brighter," said Larry Ware, who is the Founder and President of Alpha. "The expanding Colorado region has a significant number of funded road infrastructure projects on the near horizon. My son, Nick Ware, will continue to lead Alpha and preserve the legacy and customer service focused culture we have worked so hard to build."
"With a strong position in the marketplace and a great cultural fit, we believe Alpha is an important addition to the Mid-State platform as we continue to expand our national reach," stated Darren Coughlin, Chief Executive Officer of Mid-State Restoration, Inc. "Alpha will bring synergies with other road construction assets that we have in the region. The acquisition helps round out our portfolio in providing world-class services to our customers."
